CMPTL ACADEMY consciously recognizes that ragging is a social evil causing devastating effects on the student fraternity, both psychological & physical. Ragging is a disorderly conduct, whether by words spoken or written, or by an act. Teasing, ill-treating or handling with rudeness, indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or trauma to raise fear or apprehension in a fresher or a junior student. Ragging has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the psyche of a fresher or a junior student.
CMPTL ACADEMY categorically decrees that all its campuses, centers, transport buses are free from ragging and has taken / willing to take all possible administrative steps to curb ragging & indiscipline. CMPTL ACADEMY will strictly follow the UGC guidelines and has done/willing to do all that it takes to root out ragging. An exhaustive anti-ragging regulation is put in place & practiced.
With respect to the Reference to clause (g) of sub – section (I) of Section 26 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, and AICTE notification vide curricular no. F. No. 37-3/legal /AICTE/2009 dated 25/03/2009, all regulations will be followed strictly in the Academy to root out ragging in all its forms.
